DUSHANBE, February 10, 2010, Asia-Plus — The Central Commission for Elections and Referenda (CCER) has begun to print ballot papers for the February 28 elections to the Majlisi Namoyandgon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament) and local legislatures.
Muhibullo Dadajonov, an official with CCER, told Asia-Plus that under the country’s legislation the ballot papers will be printed in the republic under strict control.
“A day before the elections, CCER will distribute the ballot papers to the district electoral commissions,” Dadajonov said.
