DUSHANBE, December 24, 2009, Asia-Plus — A protocol on making changes and addenda to the government-to-government agreement between Tajikistan and India on non-visa regime for holders of diplomatic passports of November 14, 2003 was singed in Dushanbe yesterday, according to the MFA information department.
The protocol was inked by Tajik Foreign Minister Hamrokhon Zarifi and Indian Ambassador to Tajikistan Omar Singh.
“Under this agreement, citizens of Tajikistan and India who hold diplomatic and service /official/ passports are permitted to enter, leave and transit though the territory of the other country via appropriate international crossing points without visa for official purposes during the period of not more than 30 days,” the source said.
