Sughd customs officials transfer over 10.5 thousand Somoni to Rogun account

Khujand. December 10. Asia-Plus — Customs officials from Sughd Oblast of Tajikistan have contributed their mite into the construction of Rogun HPP. They have transferred their two-day salary worth 10.517 Somoni to the bank account for the construction of the hydropower plant.

Sughd customs officials support Tajik President’s initiative aimed at the construction of such an important object on which the country’s energy independence depends, the Regional Customs Department for Sughd Oblast reported.

According to the source, local customs officials are planning to purchase Rogun’s shares in the future.
