Starlink satellite internet has officially become available in Kyrgyzstan. As of May 23, the country appears on the service map with the status Available, according to Fergana news agency.
On the Starlink website, users can already enter a specific address and check whether a connection is possible in their area. The service also offers to view available plans for the selected location.
The launch of Starlink is particularly important for remote villages and mountainous regions of Kyrgyzstan, where wired or mobile internet is unstable or unavailable. SpaceX’s satellite system allows access to the internet through a terminal that connects with low-orbit satellites.
In April, Kyrgyzstan’s authorities reported that the launch of Starlink was in its final stage. At the time, the Cabinet stated that the country had completed the necessary permitting procedures, and SpaceX had met the required conditions and signed agreements with authorized state agencies.
In Tajikistan, Starlink was launched in February 2026. It opened access to satellite internet even in the most remote areas of the country.
This material contains a detailed guide on how to order a terminal, how much the monthly fee costs, where to register the equipment, who and how can use it, and when it is advisable to switch to satellite internet instead of mobile or fixed-line.
