Uzbekistan cotton export in 2009 can decrease by 40% comparing with the average indexes of last years, reported RIA Novosti citing press-release of International Cotton Advisory Committee.

“Experts suppose that it is connected with the world cotton demand decrease, especially in China, the main importer of cotton in the world,” was said in the document. It is expected that textile industry of China will buy 41% less of cotton comparing with previous years.
