DUSHANBE, September 29, 2009, Asia-Plus  — Foreign ministers of Denmark and Switzerland are expected to visit Tajikistan in early October.

Davlat Nazriyev, the head of the Tajik MFA information department, said  that Ms. Micheline Calmy-Rey, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Switzerland, would pay visit to Tajikistan on October 5-6.  Tajik Foreign Minister Hamrokhon Zarifi and his Swiss counterpart will consider issues related to state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Switzerland.

Tajik FM will also conduct negotiations with his Danish counterpart, Mr. Per Stig Meller, who will pay visit to Tajikistan on October 7-8.

During their stay in Tajikistan, the Swiss and Danish foreign ministers are also scheduled to held talks with Tajik President Emomali Rahmon, the MFA spokesman said.
