DUSHANBE, September 7, 2009, Asia-Plus — Consultations between the foreign ministries of Tajikistan and Kazakhstan on bilateral cooperation and interaction within international organizations, including the OSCE, were conducted in Dushanbe at the end of last week, according to the Kazakh MFA’s press service.
The consultations covered a broad range of issues related to bilateral cooperation in economic and social spheres, attraction of investments as well as implementation of joint investment projects.
The consultations participants pointed out dynamic development of trade and economic relations between the two countries and maintenance of a positive tendency in two-way trade volumes.
State and prospects of further expansion of interaction between the two countries within the framework of the OSCE, were one of major topics of the consultations.
On the sidelines of the consultations, the Kazakh delegation met with Tajik Deputy Foreign Minister, Mahmoudjon Sobirov, the Kazakh MFA’s press service said.
