DUSHANBE, January 16, 2008, Asia-Plus — According to figures provided by the State Committee for Statistics, population’s monetary incomes rose 37 percent in the year to November 30 2008, reaching 8.5132 billion somoni.
Monetary expenses and savings for the report period have amounted to 8.6028 billion somoni and the population has spent 61.3 percent of the overall volume of monetary expenses and savings for purchase of goods and payment of services. Voluntary fees have accounted for 25.2 percent of the overall volume of monetary expenses and savings, according to the State Committee for Statistics.
Meanwhile, real earnings (after deduction of obligatory payments) rose 1.8 percent in the year to November 30, 2008.
