DUSHANBE, October 8, 2011, Asia-Plus — By resolution of the Board of the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) of October 6 the certificate of the microloan fund of the Mountain Societies Development Support Programme (MSDSP) on carrying out microloan operations has been recalled.
The source in Tajik central bank says the license of that microfinance institution has been recalled because it has fulfilled alls its tasks and gone out of business.
“Established in 2005, this microloan fund provided small low-interest loans for implementation of small projects in Gorno Badakhshan,” the source noted.
