KULOB, December 19, 2008, Asia-Plus  — Another 66 computers and 11 printers have been distributed to schools in the city and the district of Kulob, the Kulob education department head Davlatali Amirov said.  

According to him, the computers and printers were allocated for Kulob schools from the last consignment of computers purchased for the Khatlon province due to funds provided from presidential reserve fund under the national school computerization program.

“At preset all 53 schools in the city and the district of Kulob have computer classes,” said Amirov, “Some schools have already been connected to Internet.”

In all, 616 computers have been distributed to schools of the city and the district of Kulob so far, the education department head said, noting that 804 computers and 330 printers were handed over to Khatlon education authorities for local schools on December 11.
