DUSHANBE, December 19, 2008, Asia-Plus — Deputy Finance Minister Jamoliddin Nouraliyev met with Mr. Sato Matsumi, representative of the Education Program of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), in Dushanbe on December 18 to discuss the project, Third Phase of Training of Personnel for Tajikistan, according to the Ministry of Finance (MoF).
The source at a MoF said that the main objective of that project was cooperation in training personnel for Tajikistan and supporting young managers realizing plans the 21st century socioeconomic development plans.
The JICA mission arrived in Tajikistan on December 17 to discuss cooperation issues. During its stay in Dushanbe, the JICA mission has held talks with senior representatives of the ministries of foreign affairs, finance, and economic development and trade. The mission is leaving Tajikistan for Japan today.
The project for training of personnel for Tajikistan was launched at the beginning of 2008, the source said.
