The source in Republican Burn-Treatment Center, has told Asia-Plus that two servicemen, Akram Davlatov and Bahrom Muminov, died last weekends.

As it had been reported earlier, four Tajik border guards, including Akram Davlatov, Bahrom Muminov, Ali Ergashev and Nasim Halimov, were hospitalized with serious burns in the Dushanbe burn-treatment facility on May 31.  Akram Davlatov and Bahrom Muminov died from burns received, and at preset doctors are fighting for lives of Ali Ergashev and Nasim Halimov.

As it had been reported earlier, a fire broke out at frontier post # 12 of the Panj Border Unit on the Tajik-Afghan border in the southern district of Panj, Khatlon province, late Tuesday [May 30], at around 7:30 p.m., leaving four border guards with injures.  According to the source in the Tajik border service, the results of the investigation into the cause of the fire have shown that the fire broke out when servicemen were burning dead wood.  “The fire spread to the barrack, where there were four servicemen at that time,” the source said.
