Administration of Khatlon province provided ‘Avvalin’ Ltd.Co. with additional 362.8ha in Kabodiyen region and 469ha in Shartuz region for licorice cultivation, Governor of Khatlon Gaibullo Afzalov told at his meeting with one of the founders of Avvalin company – director of the Japanese Cokey System Co.LTD Hiroshi Yoshida.
‘Avvalin’ Co.Ltd. is the first and the only joint Tajik-Japanese company where Tajik share makes 51% and Japan holds a 49% share.
Cokey System Co.LTD is one of the world’s leading producers of medicines.
‘Avvalin’ factory which produces glycyrrhetinic acid for export was opened in Kabodiyen region on September 22 last year. Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon took part in the opening ceremony.
