DUSHANBE, November 22, 2008, Asia-Plus  — On November 21, the government issued a number of resolutions introducing staff changes in the Tajik national air carrier, TajikAir.

By government’s resolution Hokimsho Tilloyev was relieved of his post of director general of the state unitary enterprise (SUI), TajikAir, according to presidential press service.

By other government’s resolution, he was replaced with Alimurod Mahmadaliyev, formerly first deputy director of the anticorruption agency.

Firouz Hamraliyev was relieved of his post of the first deputy director general of TajikAir and appointed as deputy transport and communications minister.

By government’s resolutions Rustam Kholiqov was appointed as director general of the SUI International Airport Dushanbe, Maroufjon Mahmoudov was appointed as director general of the SUI International Airport Khujand, Mikhail Leonov was appointed as director general of the SUI International Airport Qurghon Teppa, Ali Komilov was appointed as director general of the SUI International Airport Kulob, and Anvar Maqsoudov was appointed as director general of the SUI Tajikaeronavigatsia (air navigation).

These staff changes were introduced in connection with restructuring the national air carrier.

As it had been reported earlier, the government on October 1 this year singed a resolution on restructuring TajikAir that should be completed by the end of this year.  By this resolution the national air carrier is divided into three divisions: air company; airports; and air navigation enterprise.  These enterprises will interact with each other on contractual basis.  The Ministry of Transport and Communications (MoTC) and the State Committee for Investments and State-owned Property Management (GosComInvest) have already endorsed a statement of assets and liabilities of the air company that will have a number affiliates.
