DUSHANBE, November 21, 2008, Asia-Plus  — The Special American Business Internship Training (SABIT) program of the US Department of Commerce has announced launch of the Renewable Energy Resource Program.

According to the Us Embassy in Dushanbe, the program aims to familiarize specialists with activities of the US energy saving companies, legislative regulation of this sector in the United States as well as promote establishment of business relations and acquaint Tajik specialists with development of various sub-sectors, services, certifications, financial management and principles of doing business under conditions of market economy.  

A four-week internship will be held in February-March 2009.  Participants of the program will take a weeklong theoretical training on business that will be followed by three weeks of practical and theoretical trainings that include visits to companies, associations, and government organizations in the United States.
