DUSHANBE, August 7, 2012, Asia-Plus  — Two persons, including the ten-year-old boy, died in a traffic accident that took place in the Roudaki district on August 6.

According to the Interior Ministry traffic police directorate, the accident took place in the Somoniyon Township, the administrative center of the Roudaki District Monday afternoon.

“Dushanbe resident Abdumannon Nourov, 27, apparently failed to control his VAZ-21015 and it collided with VAZ-2106 and then ran down Vera Vasilenko, 38, and her 10-year-old son Temour,” said the source, “The woman and her son died in hospital from serious injuries they sustained in the accident.”  The cause of the accident is under investigation.
