DUSHANBE, October 31, 2012, Asia-Plus – On Tuesday October 30, a delegation of ombudsmen of Kyrgyzstan and the Russian Federation visited the Drug Control Agency (DCA) under the President of Tajikistan.

According to the DCA press center, Tajik drug control chief, Lieutenant-General Rustam Nazarov, briefed them on the current drug situation in Tajikistan, drug-control measures taken by the Tajik government as well as activities of Tajik law enforcement agencies to combat drug trafficking.

We will recall that a regional conference formally “Effective Legal Remedies for Migrant Workers: Role of Ombudsmen of Russian Federation and Central Asia” took place in the Tajik capital on October 30-31.
