KULOB, February 14, Asia-Plus – Kulob city organization of the Socialist Party (SPT — Abduhalim Ghafforov-run wing) officially registered with the Ministry of Justice has waited since November 2005 when Abduhalim Ghafforov fulfill his promise and assist in holding of a conference.
According to Bobo Islomov, head of the SPT city organization for Kulob, Abduhalim Ghafforov was in Kulob at the end of last year and “convinced Kulob socialists of the fact that he would make every effort in order that we are not disappointed in going over to his wing.”
“We agreed but he returned to
Dushanbe
and disappeared,” noted Islomov, “We have failed to wait for him and I have been twice to
Dushanbe
to meet with him but I have heard nothing except new promises.”
“At present there are some 100 members of the SPT in Kulob in it is necessary to hold a conference because some change have taken place in the Kulob organization’s leadership,” Islomov said, adding that Mirhusein Narziyev have frequently visited Kulob to meet with people.
