led by its head Carlos Pinerua has been in


Dushanbe


since March 3 for a working visit, which will last till March 16.   

According to information fro the National bank of Tajikistan (NBT), during his stay in Dushanbe Mr. Pinerua is scheduled to meet with Tajik President Emomali Rahmonov.  

The main purpose of the visit is for the IMF mission to study economic development of


Tajikistan


for the period from the end of 2005 to the beginning of 2006, according to the NBT source.  

At the beginning of this week, representatives from the IMF mission met with


Tajikistan


’s economic team, including Matlubkhon Davlatov, State Adviser to the Tajik President for Economic Matters, Safarali Najmuddinov, Minister of Finance, Hakim Soliyev, Minister of Economy and Trade, and Murodali Alimardonov, Chairman of the National Bank of

.  

The mission is also scheduled to meet with Ghulomjon Boboyev, Minister of State Revenues and Tax Collections.
