have 19,741 tractors of different models, according to information from the State Committee for Statistics.

Of them, only 11,489 tractors or 58 percent have so far been prepared for the spring field works, the source said.  

“Of 4,516 tractor ploughs, only 66 percent have been prepared for sowing campaign,” said the Asia-Plus, “Only 54 percent (2,047) of 3,804 ploughing tractors are in good order.” 

On provision of farming units with fuel, the source said that little more than 10,000 tons of diesel have been supplied to the farming units over the first two months of the year, which is 1,059 tons fewer compared to January-February 2005.
