with visiting secretary general of Indian Chamber of Commerce Antil Mathur.  

According to information from CCI, the purpose of the visit for representatives from Indian business circles is to familiarize themselves with industrial enterprises in


Tajikistan


as well as to study investment climate and market in


Tajikistan


.  

“Indian entrepreneurs have familiarized themselves with national priorities of


Tajikistan


’s economy in agrarian sector, hydropower, light industry, processing of farm produce, mining, tourism, hotel business and healthcare,” the CCIS source said.  

During the meeting the Tajik CCI head noted that holding of Indian exhibitions and organization of meetings of businesspeople of the two countries would give a new impulse to further expansion of economic cooperation between

For his part, secretary general of

’s Chamber of Commerce stressed that Indian entrepreneurs were keen on investing in


Tajikistan


’s economy and would undertake efforts to promote expansion of cooperation between the two countries.  Mr. Mathur also noted that the issue of holding of an exhibition of Indian goods in


Dushanbe


would be considered in near future.  

The meeting resulted in signing of an agreement on bilateral cooperation between chambers of commerce and industry of the two countries.
