The Foundation head Ismat Taghoyev has told Asia-Plus that over the past period they handed over clothing and shoes to twelve institutions, including centers for elderly people in Tursunzoda and Yovon s well as

orphanage “Chorbogh” and Society of Deaf People.  

According to him, the action is planned to target not only disabled people but also elderly people who don’t have relatives to support.   

“The aid has been provided by SOS American Company Foundation Inc,” Mr. Taghoyev said, adding that a container with tinned goods for the vulnerable people is supposed to arrive in

after April 20.  

Besides, SOS American Foundation Inc intends to supply to

wheelchairs and other necessary appliances for disabled people special devices.   

At present, according to Mr. Taghoyev, more than 126,000 disabled people are living in
