DUSHANBE, May 11, Asia-Plus — Some 700 Tajik builders will be placed in jobs at the construction company “M-Stroy” in the Russian republic of Dagestan fulfilling orders by the Russian Ministry of Defense for facilities in Dagestan, Mahmadali Jabborov, director of the Dushanbe Employment Center, said.
According to him, Tajik builders working with the “M-Stroy” company will be providing with dwelling and receive good monthly wages. “Employers promise to pay them US$300 a month,” Mr. Jabborov said.
Besides, 1,500 Tajiks are supposed to be employed at farming units in the Russian region of Penza in near future. Jabborov says an agreement on this subject has been reached during his visit to Penza. He added that under that agreement 150 Tajik medical workers would also be sent to Penza.
The Dushanbe Employment Center head also says that they have reached an agreement with administration of Russia’s Sverdlovskaya region the Russian on employment of Tajik citizens in that region. “300 medical workers will be provided with jobs in this region,” Jabborov said, adding that 100 drivers and chemical industry workers from Tajikistan also will be placed in jobs in the Sverdlovskaya oblast. “An average monthly wage of drivers will be between US$800 and US$1000 and an average monthly wage of medical workers will be some US$400,” the Asia-Plus interlocutor said.
According to him, at present Russia’s region of Penza has some 92,000 workers’ vacancies and the Samara region has 52,000 workers’ vacancies.
