QUTHGON TEPPA, May 27, Asia-Plus – Employees from the Khatlon branch of “Tojikstandart” (Tajik standardization and metrology agency) have conducted 614 inspections at enterprises and organizations in the region over the first four months of this year, Abdujali Egamov, deputy head of the Khatlon standardization agency, said.  

According to him, 13 enterprises have been reprimanded for selling low-quality products and 67 other enterprises have been warned against selling uncertified goods. 

13 heads of enterprises and separate entrepreneurs have been fined a total of 1,648 Somonis.  

Mr. Egamov also noted that of 718 items of inspected food products, 58 have not met standard.
