DUSHANBE, May 30, Asia-Plus — The 19

th

session of the council of the EAEC (Eurasian Economic Community) tax services heads will be held in Dushanbe from March 31 to June 1.   

According to information from the Ministry of State Revenues and Tax Collections, the meeting is aiming to consider amendments made to tax laws of the EAC nations in 2005 and discuss the results of analysis of last year’s export/import of ethyl alcohol and alcohol drinks.   

Participants at the meeting also will consider a draft plan of activity of a working group for taxation of the small enterprise entities in member nations of the Community designed for 2006-2007 and will make changes to the membership of the council of the EAEC tax services heads.

On June 1, the 10

th

session of the coordination council of the CIS tax services heads will be held in Dushanbe as well. 

The session is aiming to consider analysis of a procedure of registration of taxpayers and discuss motions on the improvement of protection of information sent between the CIS tax services by electronic channels of communications.
