DUSHANBE, June 14, Asia-Plus — 87 students from Tajikistan will study at higher educational institutions in the Russian Federation in new academic year.  

According to information from the Ministry of Education, the Russian side has provided quotas for Tajik students to study at 15 higher educational institutions, including the Moscow Textiles Institute, Russian Chemical-Technologies Institute, Astrakhan State University, Belgorod Technological University, Volgograd Architecture-Construction Institute, St. Petersburg Engineering-Economic University and so forth.   

 The source says some 300 school leavers have to date submitted applications for entering the higher educational institutions in the Russian Federation.  

“Besides, Turkey has provided some 20 quotas, Iran and Ukraine — 10 quotas each,” an official with the department for international matters at the Education Ministry said.
