The source says senior representatives from the Tajik government, diplomatic missions accredited in Tajikistan and media will attend an official opening of the U.S. Embassy in Dushanbe.  The Asia-Plus interlocutor added that a group of U.S. Marines would arrive in Tajikistan to guard the U.S. Embassy in Dushanbe.  

We will recall that the construction of the building of the U.S. Embassy in Dushanbe officially commenced on June 10, 2003.  The Embassy is being constructed in the Zarafshon area of Dushanbe and the budget for the construction of it is more than US$60 million.
