th

anniversary of its establishment. 

One of the main directions of the Committee activity is reorganization of farms.

Abdusalom Chakalov, the head of the information and analysis department of the Committee, has told Asia-Plus that nine state farms have been reorganized over the first quarter of this year and 221 farming units have been established on the basis of them.

have been reorganized over the past decade, and 4,410 dehqan (peasant) farms with a total number of 664,835 shareholders have been established on the basis of them.  

“A total area of farmland in the reorganized units is more than 1.744 million hectares,” said Mr. Chakalov, “Of them. 329,803 hectares are ploughed fields, including more that 223,000 hectares of irrigated lands.” 

The other important direction of the Committee’s activity is giving certificates for use of lands, according to Mr. Chakalov.

) State Unitary Enterprise within the Committee of Land-tenure Regulations has given 327,667 certificates, including 28,452 certificates for dehqan farms, more than 91,000 certificates for personal plots, and 193,973 certificates for additional (presidential) lands.
