DUSAHNBE, July 20, Asia-Plus — The Ministry of Finance has submitted a draft national budget for 2007 for consideration to the Government.

According to information from the Ministry of Finance, the draft national budget for 2007 stands at 2.93 billion Somonis.  It was noted that the revenue part of the draft budget for the next year is expected to get 1.73 billion (without taking into consideration foreign grants and loans) and its expenditure part will stand at 1.828 billion.  The budget balance deficit is supposed to make some 1 percent (without taking into consideration grants and loans).  

According to the preliminary prognosis, a growth in gross domestic product (GDP) of Tajikistan will make 7.2 percent in 2007, and a total volume of GDP next year will amount to 9.55 billion Somonis.  

The revenue part of the 2006 budget exceeds 1.5 billion Somonis, and the expenditure part of this year’s national budget stands at1.542 billion.  According to the preliminary prognosis, the GDP growth this year will have made 8 percent, and the GDP will have been more than 8 billion this year, which is one billion Somonis more than in 2006.
