DUSAHNBE, July 24, Asia-Plus – Mr. Davlat Sulaymonov, the head of the department for registration of public associations and political parties of the Ministry of justice told a news conference in

on July 24 that nine media, including newspapers and TV and radio stations, have been registered with the Ministry of Justice over the past six months.  

“Of them, six (three newspapers, one printing house, TV station and Radio station) are located in Dushanbe and districts subordinate to the center; two others – one newspaper and TV and radio station “Oryono” – have been registered in Gorno Badakhshan, and TV and radio station “Port-Plus” has been registered in the northern province of Sughd,” Mr. Sulaymonov said.  

Speaking to journalists, Tajik justice official also noted that 33 various media have been registered with the Ministry of Justice since 2003.

so far,” said  Davlat Sulaymonov, “Of them. 176 have been registered with the Ministry of Justice over the first six of this of this year.” 

He also noted that the ministry had transferred more than 25,500 Somonis made from registration of those 176 public associations to the national budget over the same six-month period.
