DUSHANBE, July 26, Asia-Plus  —  A three-day business forum of Tajik and French entrepreneurs meeting is expected to be held in Dushanbe from July 29-31, according to information from Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI).

The CCI source says this issue was in the center of discussion of French Ambassador to Tajikistan Pierre Andrieu with the Tajik CCI head Sharif Saidov on July 25.  The two discussed protocol and technical issues as well as a schedule of staying of a French delegation in

, according to the source.  

The Asia-Plus interlocutor says that during its stay in


Tajikistan


the French delegation wants to familiarize itself with industrial potentials of


Tajikistan


as well as hold talks with senior representatives from relevant ministries and organizations of


Tajikistan


and visit the country’s largest enterprises.  

“In the course of the talks Saidov and Andrieu also discussed the present investment environment in


Tajikistan


as well as


Tajikistan


’s entrepreneurship legislation and special privileges determined for foreign investors,”  the source noted.  

He also added that during the meeting French diplomat noted that French businessmen were interested in establishment of cooperation with their Tajik counterparts.  Mr. Andrieu expressed hope that upcoming visit of French entrepreneurs would facilitate seeking potential partners for good of the two countries.
