According to information from the Dushanbe Office of Turkey’s Agency for Cooperation and Development (TICO), the technology will be introduced within the framework of a joint project being implemented by the agriculture ministries of the two countries.  

The source says the new method of growing wheat will allow fighting more efficiently against weeds and pests, and increasing yields of this crop.

for the implementation of the project,” the Asia-Plus interlocutor said, noting that TICA will provide all necessary supplies by October 10 or late November.  

“The supplies includes four sowing-machines, four tons of seed grain, as well as fertilizers and pesticides necessary for the sowing campaign,” the source said, adding that all supplied will be provided to Tajikistan in no-strings aid. 

“Agronomists from various districts of the republic will be invited to the sites for introduction of the new wheat-sowing technology and during two-week Turkish experts will conduct theoretical and practical workshops for them on use of this technology.
