DUSAHNBE, August 11, Asia-Plus — Dushanbe Mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev has passed a resolution permitting to carry out rehearsals for military parade that will be held in Dushanbe on September 9 on occasion of the 15
th
anniversary of Tajikistan’s Independence.
Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor, says the rehearsals will held in the Hofiz Sherozi Street from August 31 to September 7, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and in the Ismoili Somonis Street, from September 1-7, from 20:00 to 24:00.
The ministry of defense (MoD) is to provide good organization and discipline of servicemen, and the Dushanbe police directorate is to take adequate measures to regulate traffic in the mentioned streets during the rehearsals and jointly with other relevant ministries and organization to provide security of the population and the parade participants, according to the mayoral spokesman.
