DUSHANBE, August 14, Asia-Plus  — The seven-millionth resident of Tajikistan was born in Dushanbe last Sunday, at 1:00 a.m.  

Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor, has told Asia-Plus that seven-millionth resident of Tajikistan was born in a family of residents of the Dushanbe district of Shohmansour.   

The baby and his mother are in good health condition and supposed to be out of the maternity house tomorrow.  An official ceremony of handover of an authorization to the apartment and keys of it to the baby’s mother will be held on the same day, according to the Asia-Plus interlocutor.  

We will recall that a decision on providing apartment to the mother of the seven-millionth resident of Tajikistan was made by the Dushanbe mayor on August 11.

Dushanbe Mayor, Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev, Friday [August 11] passed a resolution, under which the seven-millionth resident of Tajikistan would receive apartment in Dushanbe free of charge.   The resolution obligates the housing department of the Dushanbe mayor’s office to provide an apartment and write out an authorization to the apartment to name of the baby’s mother.
