DUSAHNBE, September 6, Asia-Plus – More than 270 guests from more than 25 countries of the world have been invited to attend the Fourth World Forum of Tajiks that will be held in Dushanbe on September 8, according to information from the “Payvand” association.  

The source says known scientists, poets, and artistes such as Said Jalol Badakhshi from the United Kingdom, Masoud Mirshohi from France, Manouchehr Farhangi from Spain, Masoud Sipand from the United States, Aliasghar Sherdust from Iran, and others have already confirmed their participation in the forum’s work.  

Mr. Abduqodir Maniyozov, the head of the “Payvand” association, has told Asia-plus that the government had provided 380,000 Somonis (equivalent to some US$100,00) for holding the forum.  

During their stay in Tajikistan the forum participants also will attend celebrations dedicated to mark the 15

th

anniversary of Tajikistan’s Independence and the 2700

th

anniversary of Kulob.  

The First World Forum of Tajiks was held on September 9, 1992.
