KHOROG, September 6, Asia-Plus – Residents of Khorog, the capital of Gorno Badakhshan, now may pick up programs of the TV channel “Safina.”

Maqulsho Maqulshoyev, the head of the “Khorog-3” relay center, has told Asia-Plus that the “Safina” programs will be broadcast to Khorog by the station of Tajik national TV.

“For regular broadcast of the “Safina” programs we use relay station of “TV Badakhshan,” said Mr. Maqulshoyev, “We also have an opportunity to broadcast its programs by the Tajik national TV station.”

“However, for broadcasting the “Safina” programs to the whole territory of the region we have to install separate relays.”

“If the project for broadcasting the “Safina” programs to the whole territory of Gorno Badakhshan is funded, some 99.5 percent of the population of the region will be able to pick up “Safina” TV,” Maqulshoyev said.
