DUSHANBE, September 8, Asia-Plus – On Thursday September 7, Chief of the Narcotics and Law Enforcement Section of the U.S. Embassy, Ranjeet Singh, and Lieutenant-General Rustam Nazarov, Director of the Drug Control Agency (DCA), signed a Memorandum of Property Transfer, transferring $120,000 worth of assistance in specialized interdiction and investigative equipment to the Drug Control Agency of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan. 

According to information from the U.S. Embassy in Dushanbe, this equipment is provided by the Narcotics and Law Enforcement Section of the Embassy of the United States of America as part of their on-going efforts to develop the capabilities of the Drug Control Agency.  This brings to over $500,000 in equipment provided to the DCA since 2005.
