, September 12, Asia-Plus - Additional security measures introduced by Tajik border guards to provide security during the holiday celebrations have been extended till September 18, according to information from the Tajik border service.  


A source in the Tajik border service says they have tightened control at the border-crossing checkpoints and stepped up patrols in the border areas.  “A special regime of work has been introduced at economic facilities located in the border areas,” the source said, noting that at present the situation on the border is stable.
