DUSHANBE, September 25, Asia-Plus – The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower chamber (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament has considered amendments made to the RT Constitutional Law “On Local Bodies of State Power in the Republic of Tajikistan.”

A Shuro meeting presided over by the Majlisi Namoyandagon speaker Saydullo Khairulloyev was held on September 25.  

Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, said the board members also considered the bills on trademarks, natural monopolies, geographical signs, etc.  

Besides, the meeting considered the convention of cooperation between the CIS states in fighting terrorism and other manifestations of extremism and a series of other procedural issues.  

A part of these issues will be send for consideration to the third session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon that will open on October 2, according to him.
