DUSHANBE, October 9, Asia-Plus – The registered candidates and their representatives now have the right to start agitation campaign, meeting with voters and publishing materials in various print and electronic media, Muhibullo Dodojonov, a spokesman for the Central Commission for Elections and Referenda (CCER), remarked at meeting with journalists in Dushanbe on October 9. 

According to him, the registered candidates have the opportunity to use 30 minutes of airtime on TV and radio to explain their programs and their representatives will have 10 minutes of airtime.  

Besides, they may also publish their materials, at the rate of not more than 10 pages of typescript, in the state-run newspapers such as Jumhuriyat, Narodnaya Gazeta and Khalq Ovozi.
