KHOROG, November 3, Asia-Plus — Election campaign in Gorno Badakhshan is going on without any serious violations, Yusufbek Shodmonbekov, the member of Tajikistan’s Central Commission for Elections and Referenda (CCER), told Asia-Plus.

  





According to him, 8 constituencies and 258 polling stations have been set in the region.

 

“The regional electoral commission has completed compiling lists of voters and according to the preliminary data from the electoral commissions across the region, the constituencies in Gorno Badakhshan number totaling 106,790 voters,” Shodmonbekov said.

   




The CCER member added that representatives from all local public associations and political parties active in the region had been included on electoral commissions at all levels.

 

The constituencies are provided with all necessary materials, according to him.
