DUSHANBE, November 13, Asia-Plus – Customs officers have seized more than 12 kilograms of heroin at the Hashadi railway station in the Khatlon province

According to the Minister of Interior (MoI), an inspection of passengers of the train Kulob-Moscow found heroin in a luggage belonging to the resident of the Vahdat district Jaffar Rajabov on Saturday, November 11.   

A source at the MoI said that the same day, 1.5 kilograms of heroin were confiscated from a 23-year-old Alisher Nazarov in Dushanbe.  

Over the past week, 129 kilograms of drugs, including 58 kilograms of heroin were intercepted in the country, according to the source.
