DUSHANBE, November 20, Asia-Plus – 20 pupils from Dushanbe schools have received prizes and certificates from the Dushanbe Office of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for participation in the drawings contest entitled “My Dream.” 

According to Tatiana Yevstifeyeva, public relations and media officer at the ADB Dushanbe Office, said that 350 pupils from 20 schools of Dushanbe had taken part in this contest dedicated to the 40

th

anniversary of the establishment of the Asian Development Bank.   According to her, the results of the contest that was held in October were summed up last Friday and competent jury selected the best drawings.  

The ADB Country Director for Tajikistan, Neeraj Jain, attended a ceremony of awarding the contest winners.  

The Tajikistan Resident Mission (TJRM) was opened in 2003 and provides the primary operational link between ADB and the government, private-sector, and civil-society stakeholders in its activities. TJRM engages in policy dialogue and acts as a knowledge base on development issues in Tajikistan.
