DUSHANBE, December 20, Asia-Plus – By government’s resolutions First Deputy Minister of Interiors Abdurahim Qahhorov and Deputy Minister of Interiors Alikhon Rahmonov were dismissed in connection with transfer to other jobs, presidential press service said. 

According to some sources, Abdurahim Qahhorov will be appointed head of the Sughd police department.

In the meantime, Minister of Interiors Mahmadnazar Solehov yesterday appointed Lieutenant-Colonel Abdurahmon Buzmakov to head the police department for the Kulob zone of the Khatlon province.  Busmakov had previously been chief of the Shuroobod police directorate. 

We will recall that former head of the police department for the Kulob zone of Khatlon, Colonel Shodibek Rajabov, was transferred to head the Khatlon traffic police department last month already.
