DUSHANBE, December 28, Asia-Plus – Dushanbe Mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev has attended a New Year’s performance organized by capital municipal administration for some 2,000 children.

The performance was held at the Dushanbe Circus today morning. 

The mayor congratulated the children on the upcoming New Year holiday and noted that the rising generation is the future of the city and the authorities are undertaking efforts to provide them with proper education.  He reminded that more than 50 schools in Dushanbe had to date been connected to Internet.  Ubaidulloyev also appreciated children’s good studying.  

Some 2000 pupils from the Dushanbe schools and orphanages have been invited to attend this New Year’s performance.  Young Tajik variety singers and artistes of the Tajik circus took part in this New Year’s performance.
