DUSHANBE, January 15, Asia-Plus — Tajik President Emomali Rahmonov yesterday evening left for Beijing for a state six-day visit, presidential press service reported.  

Heads of a number of ministries and organizations are accompanying President Rahmonov on this trip.  During his stay in China, Rahmonov is scheduled to hold talks with his Chinese counterpart, President Hu Jintao, and other high-ranking Chinese state officials. 

Besides, top managers of 50 Tajikistan’s largest companies and four banks left for Beijing to attend a Tajik-Chinese business forum that will be held in the Chinese capital on sidelines of Rahmonov’s visit.  

Rahmonov’s visit to China is expected to result in a number of economic documents.
