DUSHANBE, January 22, Asia-Plus — Saydullo Khairulloyev, Chairman of the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament), presided over a meeting of the board (Shuro) of the lower chamber of parliament on January 22.

Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, said that the board had considered bills on the public service, on joint stock companies, on state support for agrarian-industrial complex, as well as amendments to the laws on armed forces of Tajikistan, on state regulation of production and circulation of oil products.  

The board also discussed draft prognosis of main directions of Tajikistan’s monetary policy in 2007 and draft state-borrowing program for 2007-2009.

 

Some of these issues will be considered at the regular sitting of the third session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon on January 24 11, Sultonov said.
