DUSAHNBE, March 15, Asia-Plus – The next editions of a number of Dushanbe newspapers have not been brought out following strict power limitations introduced in some areas of Dushanbe.  

According to the state-run printer Sharqi Ozod, which is also situated in the area affected by the introduced electricity supplies restrictions, said that the next editions of the following newspapers were not published on March 15:

Jumhuriyat

(Tajik-language official paper of the government);

Khalq Ovozi

(Uzbek-language official paper of the government);

Millat

and supplement to it

Beduni Siyosat

  (Out of Politics);

Boju Khiroj

(official paper of the tax committee);

Nigoh

;

Zamondosh (

Uzbek-language independent weekly);

Omuzgor

and

Bomdod

(the Qurghon Teppa independent weekly).

According to the source, the editions are expected to be brought out tomorrow.  

We will recall that power limitations were imposed on some areas of the Tajik capital on March 14.
