DUSHANBE, May 7, Asia-Plus -The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower chamber (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament considered a bill requiring an amnesty for physical and juridical entities following their legalization of funds at a May 7 meeting presided over by its speaker Saydullo Khairulloyev. 

Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, said that the board also considered amendments to the laws on licensing certain types of activities, state regulation of production and circulation of ethyl alcohol and alcohol drinks, seed-growing and environmental protection.  

The board also considered draft resolutions on the establishment of a group of friendship between the Majlisi Namoyandagon and Al-Majlis ul-Ittihad ul-Vatani (parliament of the United Arab Emirates) and the Majlisi Namoyandagon’s delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).  

Some of these issues will be considered at the next regular sitting of the third session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the third convocation, Sultonov said.
