DUSHANBE, May 8, Asia-Plus – On Sunday May 6, President Emomali Rahmon being on an official visit to Qatar visited Al-Jazeera TV company in Doha.

According to presidential press service, during a meeting with Muhammad Badar Al-Sada, the deputy head of Al-Jazeera company, President Rahmon highly praised programs prepared by Al-Jazeera.  

Giving a broadcast talk, President Rahmon made focus on priorities and main directions of Tajikistan foreign and domestic policy, establishment of friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation with Arab and other Muslim countries, presidential press service said.  

“The head of state noted that Al-Jazeera as an influential and free tribune among countries of the Muslim world should take efforts to attract attention of advanced and rich Muslim countries to problems facing the developing countries,” presidential press service noted.
